There is also an option afterwards for members of our group to do a 14-night luxury cruise on the Diamond Princess leaving Auckland on March 2.
The itinerary includes:
11 FEB: Fly from Melbourne to Wellington (Qantas)… includes air taxes
11-16 FEB: Six nights in Wellington, 5 days Test ticket, welcome dinner, airport transfers, breakfast. The Basin Reserve is an easy walk away from our hotel
17 FEB: Transfer to Ferry terminal. Take the Inter islander to Picton. Small coach pick up and transfer to Montana Wines for tasting, tour and a lunch all included. Ferry 0900/1230.
Overnight Blenheim. Breakfast.
18 FEB: Tour and stay overnight Kaikoura. Breakfast (Optional Whale watching extra TBA)
19 FEB: Tour to Christchurch stopping at Hanmer Springs for mineral baths (extra entry fee)
19-24 FEB: Six Nights in Christchurch. Hagley Park, the city’s new Test venue, is an easy 20 minute walk; 5 days Test ticket
25 FEB: Coach to Mount Cook, stay overnight (TBC)
26-28 FEB: Coach to unforgettable, majestic Queenstown for three nights; 4 star hotel an easy walk to town
