The Society’s Annual General Meeting has been scheduled to take place prior to the ACS Season Launch, featuring ACS Patron Ricky Ponting. Notification of the Meeting has been recently been sent to all Members.
The Society’s Annual Report will be available to all Members, via our this website a week or so prior to the Meeting. A limited number of hard copies of the Report will be available at the Meeting.
This is an important AGM as it marks the end of the reign of Ken Piesse as President. Ken has devoted 16 years to the Society in that role and has been an extraordinary leader – in particular, his roles as Editor of PAVILION and more recently, Scoresheet and in connection with our Luncheons and Dinners. Ken is keen to continue as Editor of PAVILION and Scoresheet but will not be able to continue his work in regard to our Functions. In addition to Ken, Committee members Geoff Craig and Marino Bovo will need to be replaced.
At a recent meeting, a Nominations sub-committee – comprising Adrian McKenzie, Keiran Croker and Wayne Ross – was appointed to ‘head-hunt’ possible Committee personnel. Their report will be presented to the AGM.
