Tess Flintoff, one of four ACS scholars at Bryce McGain’s Elite Cricket Academy See Video  has had a fine summer. She captained the Outer East Eagles at the Under 16 State Championships where she made 151 runs in 4 innings with a highest score of 50 not out at an average of 75.

Tess also represented Victoria Metro in the Under 15 National Championships in Canberra in January. She finished the leading run scorer for Vic Metro with 153 runs with a highest score of 44 not out.
From the national carnival Tess was selected with a group of 20 other girls to attend a series of training sessions and games at the Bupa National Cricket Centre in Brisbane.
In her first year of Woman’s ‘P2’ Premier cricket, Tess had a successful season playing for Ringwood CC. Unfortunately RCC lost the P2 Grand Final to Carlton/Brunswick CC. In a year where she learnt a lot about playing turf cricket, Tess won the batting award at Ringwood for the 2016/17 season. We wish her and our other scholars all the best.
