The Australian Cricket Society is proud to welcome our ambassador Merv Hughes to the Kelvin Club for an entertaining afternoon of reminiscing, stories and hilarity on Friday lunchtime, June 30… what a way to farewell the financial year!
Merv remains one of the foremost personalities in Australian cricket, his record of four wickets per Test and 212 overall a tribute to his skill, tenacity and longevity. And to think that Ian Chappell once said: ‘The trouble with Merv Hughes is that he thinks he’s a fast bowler!’
