Author and commentator Gideon Haigh is the Society’s guest of honour on Friday, 23 November,
talking about cricket’s tumultuous times which he has analysed in his justpublished book Crossing the Line – Has
Australian Cricket Lost Its Way? His 37th book disseminates the culture of the game across all levels, via dozens of
interviews.
Born in London, Gideon grew up in Geelong and now lives in Melbourne from where he writes about cricket for
The Australian, The Times, and The Cricketer.
