Late last week we heard of the passing of Geoff Minster who was a wonderful servant and great contributor to the Australian Cricket Society .
Geoff served two stints on the ACS committee from 2000 – 2010, first as merchandise officer during Richard Elvins term as president. His deft management during a difficult period was a major factor in the financial resurrection of the Society.
Despite ongoing health issues, he rejoined the committee in 2007 serving as secretary under Ken Piesse for 3 years. A superb organiser, he played a significant role in the ongoing growth of the Society .
A true gentleman and a great cricket lover, he’ll be missed by many friends at the Australian Cricket Society.
