ACS scholarship recipient Tess Flintoff has just completed a successful Under 15 National Championships as captain of the Vic Metro team.

Tess made 148 runs at 37 with a highest score of 89 against WA.

Opening the bowling she took 4 wickets at 14. At the end of the carnival Tess was chosen, with 24 other girls, to participate in the Cricket Australia Under 15 Talent Squad.

This means she will spend time honing her skills at the Bupa National Cricket Centre later this year while working with elite coaches from across the country, and will have access to sports science services including nutrition, strength and conditioning and sports psychology. We are so proud of our small role in assisting in the fast tracking of  Tess via her ACS scholarship at bryce McGain’s Elute Cricket Academy. – KEN PIESSE
