James, 31, had another fine summer this year, without breaking into Australia’s Test team and is staying home this winter to be with his young family – and plan yet another assault on England and the 2021-22 Ashes.
A dynamic paceman with exhilarating speed, he is passionate, determined and talented. Watching James sprint to the wicket and give his all, each and every ball, has been a privilege at all levels and his Test wicket strike rate of almost four wickets per match and strike-rate of 48 over 21 Tests is remarkable.
We are expecting a full house at Kooyong’s wonderful main room. Our Young Cricketers of the Year will also be announced, as well as all our normal features such as the Toast to Cricket.
